This Primary Health Care facility is situated in the village of Cranleigh, Surrey. The NHS needed this facility to be delivered within a very tight programme. This was achieved thanks to the design team’s close collaboration from the outset.
Eurban were involved in this process, which meant all the benefits of designing and building in cross-laminated timber could be fully exploited. The new building accommodates doctors’ consultation rooms, patient waiting areas, nurse practice and minor surgery rooms, along with administrative and training spaces. It was awarded the Healthcare Project of the Year 2013, and won several design awards from Waverley Borough Council.
