A restaurant building located within the grounds of the Wildernesse House stately home in Seal, Sevenoaks, Kent. The restaurant is constructed as a 1 storey building. The superstructure comprises a grillage of glulam beams (with arch cut-outs) and columns on a 4.0m x 4.0m grid. Cross-laminated timber slabs span between the beams to form the flat roof; this is raised in the centre of the building by approximately 2.5m to form a 4.0m x 8.0m ‘lantern’.
