Five semi-detached prototype homes assembled with cross-laminated timber, in Didcot, Oxfordshire as part of Taylor Wimpey’s ‘Project 2020’ competition. Taylor Wimpey launched ‘Project 2020’ in order to explore modern methods of of construction in partnership with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). Winners, Open Studio Architects, created ‘Infnite House’, four types of house which enhance daylight levels and flexibility of internal planning.
