A private house in Tottenham that slots into the existing row of terraced houses. It is modest in scale but huge in ambition – seeking to reinvent the terrace typology to maximise light and reconnect with the landscape. To achieve this, a light-well is formed in the center of the plan allowing light to penetrate the center of the house. Rooms are arranged around this opening on the first floor and the living and dining areas are downstairs in an open plan arrangement.
