Role Summary:

The Project Manager (PM) is a member of the Eurban office team and is the person responsible for accomplishing the stated project objectives.

The role of the Project Manager can be described as that of a liaison between the Client and Design Teams, as well as the internal and external Production teams and the Construction Management teams on site.

The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that everyone on the team knows and executes his or her role, feels empowered and supported in the role, and knows the roles of the other team members.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Develop the project requirements.
  • Create clear and attainable project objectives.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/suppliers for flawless execution of projects
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Apply for payments and track payment applications in conjunction with the Accounts team.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report regularly to the team as needed.
  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/suppliers.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Be prepared to arrange and deliver CPDs / presentations to Clients, Design Team consultants, public/private bodies.
  • Coordinate with office and site management on project status and resource requirements.

Education & Technical Background:

The benchmark requirements / preferable profile for a PM at Eurban is a fully qualified architect with experience in dealing with design teams,  main contractors and other trades. A solid technical background with experience of design implementation as well as familiarity with site processes will be required.

  • Qualified Part 3 architect or qualified Construction Project Manager with a track record of delivering high quality buildings.
  • Thorough understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work.
  • Knowledge about British design standards and regulations.
  • Experience with managing British contracts.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Projects, Word and Teams
