Project Designer

We’re looking for a Project Designer to join our team. Please read the details below and get in touch if you feel you have the suitable skills.

Role Summary:

• UK’s Leading Specialist Timber Engineering Consultant & Sub-Contractor.
• London office based role with regular hands on site visits in the UK.
• Seeing timber construction projects from Design through Manufacture to construction on site.
• Work in a team of experienced Timber Engineers & Project Managers.
• Using technologies & BIM to improve efficiency in working.
• Full Training in Autodesk Revit & Fabrication Software provided as training.
• Full time and varied role, working on live projects ranging from small houses to large schools & multi-story residential schemes.
• No engineering background needed but potential to branch into engineering role if suited / desired.

Education:

• Architectural Technologist / CAD Technician / Graduate Structural Engineer
• Proven Revit experience is a requirement.

​Academic Interests:

• Sustainable Construction Technology.
• Engineered Timber Products – CLT & Glulam.
• Forefront of Timber Technology linked with
• BIM (Building Information Modelling).
• Design for Manufacture & Assembly.
• BIM Level 2 incl. 4D sequencing.
• UK & International Construction Sector.

Salary: Variable, dependent on experience
